Services Provided in the Surgery  

 

Walk-in clinics

Please note the walk-in surgeries work on a first-come first-served basis, although there may be exceptions for more urgent cases.

 

We will try to let you see your preferred Doctor however this may not always be possible as some Doctors have limited capacity during their clinics. If they reach their limit you are welcome to see one of the other Doctors available on the day.

 

PLEASE NOTE THERE IS NO NURSE AVAILABLE ON FRIDAYS AFTER 16.45.

 

Specimens and Results

Specimens and blood tests are usually taken at the surgery and we ask patients to ring between 11:30-12:30pm Mon-Fri.

 

Antenatal & Postnatal Clinic
Shared care is available on request. Please book an appointment as soon as you know you are pregnant. 

Health Promotion
Patients may be seen by appointment or in surgery times. Topics include disease management, diet, smoking, alcohol and others. 

Minor Surgery
All doctors can carry out certain Minor Surgery procedures in the surgery (by appointment only). 

Physiotheraphy Service
Patients are referred directly to the Musculoskeletal Service. 

Child Health Service
Our health visitor is available on Wednesday mornings between 10am-11.30am walk-in clinic. Dr Ramsden and Dr Mistry also carries out baby checks on Wednesday mornings. We provide full childhood immunizations by booked appointment with the nurses. 

Foreign Travel
A travel Clinic is available on Tuesdays afternoons. You are advised to book an appointment at least four weeks before your holiday. 

Family Planning & Cervical Smears
Contraception advice, family planning and cervical smears tests can be arranged with the doctor or practice nurse.

Over 85s Health Check 
All patients age 85 or over are offered an annual health check. Please contact the surgery for more info. 

Phlebotomy/Blood Test Clinics

Maria is our  phlebotomist and takes bloods every morning.

Counselling Clinic
An NHS counselling service is provided by Mary Burke. We also provide a private counselling service which can be booked via reception, through your GP or directly with Diane Goodkind on 07802468956, or you can visit www.dianegoodkind.com. 

Dietician Clinic
Patients can be referred to a dietetic clinic. 

Asthma, Diabetes & Heart Disease Clinic 
All doctors and the practice nurse carry out regular reviews of patients with a history of the above conditions. The clinics for chronic disease management are run by Dr Angela Sharma, Dr Hitesh Mistry and Dr Bobby Sebastian (by appointment). For further information please call the practice nurse.
