Polio Vaccination/Booster

Following the detection of poliovirus in sewage samples collected from the London Beckton Sewage Treatment Works, the Government has advised that children living in London (aged 9 and below) should receive a polio vaccination/booster.

Parents will receive an invitation via text message or letter to inform them how to book an appointment at a local centre. The invitation roll-out has begun and is being processed via age groups - 6-9 year olds first.
