After obtaining the Bachelor in Medicine and Surgery, Dr Garcia Lopez trained as a Family and Community Doctor at the General University Hospital, Gregorio Marañón in Madrid, Spain (Spanish equivalent to JCPTGP)an 

Before coming to London, she worked as a Consultant in A&E of the University Hospital De La Princesa, Madrid, and later as Emergency Doctor in Pre-hospital Emergency Service and as a General Practitioner in Primary Health Care Centre's in Madrid.
Dr Garcia Lopez completed the GP Induction & Refresher (I&R) Scheme with the London Deanery including OSCE and nMRCGP Applied Knowledge Test in 2010 and since then has been working as a GP in the Notting Hill area.
