Dr Sebastian trained and completed his MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) at Calicut University in South India. He came to the UK in 2003 and trained extensively in general medicine and completed his MRCP (UK) in 2008.
His general medicine training included:
- Working in the Acute Specialist Stroke Unit at the University of Leicester Hospital
- A placement at the Hospital of Tropical Medicine and Infectious Disease at University College Hospital, London
- Work in the field of elderly care and complex disease management.
- Following completion of his general medicine training, Dr Sebastian completed his specialist training in general practice at Chelmsford Essex and received his MRCGP in August 2012.
Dr Sebastian joined the Pembridge Villas Surgery in September 2012 and his special interest is adult general medicine, antenatal and postnatal care and learning diabilities. He is responsible for elderly care and anticoagulation clinics.
